Just a little over ten years ago Leadership Network convened our first gathering of multisite churches and leaders and today we have directly served over 100 churches through our Leadership Communities and InnovationLabs. Much has happened in the multisite movement since that initial meeting. When we first gathered a decade ago, terminology such as campus pastor, original campus and central support systems, didn’t exist. Today these phrases and roles are a part of the common vernacular of the Church. The conversations about physical property have expanded to include establishment of campuses online and thoughts about extending reach across town have grown to include across the country and literally around the world.
So, what will the next 10 years bring? That’s a great question. During the summer of 2012, Leadership Network convened some of the pioneers of the movement for a two day discussion and “ideas to implementation to impact” session.
It was a gathering of the multisite master minds and a chance to explore the future. This Leadia experience will give you a “behind the curtain” look at some of the results of that time together. You will have the chance to her directly from some of the pioneers who are Leadership Network Clients and have the opportunity to engage in conversations around the latest innovations.

Greg Ligon has been with Leadership Network since 1997. He currently serves as Vice President of Church Innovations and Publisher. In this role, he serves several Leadership Community Directors and oversees the organizations publishing partnerships. During his time at LN, he has also directed the Multisite Churches Leadership Community, Leadership Training Network and spearheaded strategic services for the organization. Greg is also one of the authors of The Multisite Church Revolution and A Multisite Church Roadtrip. Prior to joining the LN team, Greg was responsible for creating and directing the United Methodist Campus Ministry at Southern Methodist University in Dallas for seven years. He also served as associate pastor at First United Methodist Church in Waco, Texas. Greg and his wife, Susan, have two full-throttle boys, Daniel and Andrew.
